Employing an Agency

Once you have a Direct Payment or a Personal Budget you have the option of employing your own staff or you can directly pay and agency of your choice and within your budget to provide you with a PA to do the tasks that you choose at the times that you need.

In the coming months Wiltshire CIL aims to provide a list of local agencies for you to access. We would also like you to tell us of your experiences in using agencies so that other people can benefit from your experience either good or bad.

Choosing an Agency

There are many agencies that you can choose from and DACS have a list of approved agencies that they use and can supply that information to you. You can contact them at DACS on 0300 456 0111

If you use an agency they should give you details of their terms and conditions, a copy of their contract with you and you can ask for written confirmation that they agree to supply support that can meet your particular needs
