Co-production

Co-production refers to a way of working, whereby everybody comes together on an equal basis to create a service or come to a decision which works for them all.

The SEND Coproduction Team (ages 5-18) works alongside young pioneers with lived experience of health and social care services to support, encourage and facilitate them to have their say, ensuring that their voices are heard and that they are able to contribute and influence how services are shaped and developed in Wiltshire.

The SEND Coproduction Team uses creative and interactive ways of engaging with young pioneers, co-producing each piece of work uniquely, to value their authentic voices.

You can work directly or indirectly with the SEND Coproduction Team to have your say and get your voice heard.

Here you will find links to:

  • Resources that have been co-produced by people with lived experience of disability who live and work in Wiltshire.
  • Reports that have been written following pieces of work that we have done with people with lived experience of disability in order to develop and shape local services
  • Disability Pride celebrating being proud, powerful, having a voice and a place in Wiltshire
  • Make Someone Welcome a campaign that celebrates kindness within our communities and aims to get people from all walks of life connected in our community
